Our mission when working with you is to ensure that you reach your desired targets on time. We are a results driven company and take pride in making changes happen. We also want to make sure that the process is one that is fun, supportive and provides a relationship in which you will learn more about yourself and your capabilities.

Every client is guided through a series of tests, analysis and training in a pattern devised by Matt. The process is designed to allow us to completely understand you and assess your ability and potential.

FITNESS ANALYSIS

Your initial consultation with one of our training team will allow us to gain a clear picture of your previous experiences, successes and failures. We will gain an understanding of the ways in which your body has previously performed and look for areas of past and current programmes that may have been the “missing link” in achieving your desired goal. You will be physically tested during this session using tests such as:

  • Body Weight
  • Body Fat Composition
  • Blood Pressure Analysis
  • BMI
  • Sub-Maximal Cardiovascular analysis (to establish heart and lung fitness)
  • Lung Function Analysis Strength Analysis – maximum strength and strength endurance
  • Flexibility – measurement of “Range of Motion” around joints

Once this information has been gathered, your trainer will work with you on developing a series of goals for the short and long term. This process of analysis and goal setting is vital to attaining success and is a fundamental part of how we work with you as your Personal Trainer.

PHYSIOTHERAPY SCREENING

Our Physiotherapists will spend time analyzing the mobility of your body and assess any limitations that may cause potential future problems. You will also be able to discuss any previous or current injuries which may be of concern to your programme development. Your Physiotherapist will be analysing your posture and movement patterns to enable any limitations or hyper-mobility to be established and noted. The information is discussed in detail with your Trainer to enable them to develop your programme to cope with any problems that might exist and work to rectify any conditions that may respond well to exercise. Any recommendations for further Physiotherapy work in conjunction with your training will be made to you by your physiotherapist, allowing us to fully integrate all areas of your physical development and care.

DIET CONSULTATION

You will be asked to complete a five day diet diary in detail, after which you will see our Registered Dietitian. Your session will be an opportunity to discover more about the positive and negative aspects of your diet, and to be guided through a process of dietary change. Whether your goal is weight gain, weight loss, or weight maintenance, or if you just want to feel more energized and improve digestion, our Dietitian will guide you through the changes that you may require. You will be recommended to see our Dietitian on a regular basis whilst you are initiating dietary change to allow yourself to maximize the benefits of your adjustments.

With all of the information that is gathered, you trainer is able to formulate a clear plan for your health and fitness development. You will be re-tested every 4-6 weeks in most cases and your trainer will be working towards reaching set goals on these testing dates.

The programme of exercise and lifestyle change that we take every client through is one that is thorough, goal driven, successful and highly motivational.
