A multi-disciplinary approach is adopted in creating a client specific, integrated service. As part of the initial fitness consultation for personal training clients you are provided with a physiotherapy screening to identify potential injuries and to evaluate any pre-existing conditions.
All our physiotherapists are Chartered and Registered with the Health Professions Council. Most Health insurance companies cover physiotherapy fees but please check your own policy. A GP referral is not always necessary.
Physiotherapy services are available in all Matt Roberts Personal Training centres, sessions are booked separately to personal training sessions at reception and are open to those who do not receive personal training.

SALLY EVANS | SENIOR PHYSIOTHERAPIST
Sally graduated from Salford University in 2000. Since qualifying she has worked in both the public and private sector directing her skills towards musculoskeletal physiotherapy. Sally has a special interest in sports injuries, and has completed her Post Graduate Diploma in Sports Physiotherapy at Bath University. Sally combines her 10 years of experience as a chartered physiotherapist, with her knowledge and understanding of movement and mechanics to assist athletes of all abilities. She is truly passionate about helping others achieve their fitness goals in terms of injury prevention as well as rehabilitation.
Sally combines her current role as manager of the Matt Roberts Physiotherapy Clinics with working for England Rugby Football Union as a lead physiotherapist within the community rugby department and has been part of the U.18 Medical team for over 5 season as well as touring Canada with the England Counties Squad in 2010. Sally is trained in APPI Matwork Pilates.
PAUL HARRISON | SENIOR PHYSIOTHERAPIST
Paul graduated from Brunel University in 2006 with a degree in Physiotherapy. He began working as a physiotherapist in a gym environment at a private fitness centre before moving to a become Clinical Lead at a football club in 2007, where he became experienced in Football related musculoskeletal injuries, massage and structuring goal centred rehabilitation programmes.
Paul has worked with elite athletes from the English Judo and Karate U18 team, where he provided physiotherapy support to their training sessions. He also has experience working with clients who were training for the London Marathon, providing advice and treatment for a range of injuries, alongside maintenance to ensure clients stayed injury free throughout their training. Paul is trained in APPI Matwork Pilates.
KIM JOHNSON | SENIOR PHYSIOTHERAPIST
Kim graduated from Brunel University in 2003 and gained further studies in Anatomy and Physiology at Leicester University Medical School in 2005. Kim began her career working in the public sector before moving into the private sector where she worked with professional ballerinas and other performing artists. Kim’s special interest is the pelvis, hip and back as well as sports injuries. She has gained a wide repertoire of treatment skills over the years including a variety of soft tissue techniques, Kinesio taping, Acupuncture, and Chinese cupping. She has also worked extensively with pregnant clients and written articles for the NCT. Kim is a trained Massage Therapist and also teaches students studying for their massage diploma in London. Kim is trained in APPI Matwork Pilates.
HANNAH ZREIK | SENIOR PHYSIOTHERAPIST
Hannah graduated from The University of East London in 1999. Since qualifying,Hannah has worked in both public and private settings. Currently, Hannah works full time within the military setting specialising in the managment of complex musculoskeletal problems. Hannah has completed a Masters degree in Orthopaedic medicine which has enabled her to widen her scope of practice to include injection therapy for musculoskeletal injuries. Hannah has a special interest in low back pain and lower limb musculoskeletal problems .She beleives in maximising rehabilitation by encorporating a variety of treatment approaches including massage, manual therapy, Pilates and functional rehabilitation . Hannah strongly believes in working with other health professionals and personal trainers to enable clients to achieve their rehabilitation goals.
FIONA ROBERTS | SENIOR PHYSIOTHERAPIST
Fiona graduated in Medical Science at Birmingham University before qualifying as a Physiotherapist in 2006. She has since worked for the NHS, initially in Brighton and now for the Royal Free Hospital in Hampstead. During this time, she has gained experience in rehabilitation (general and neurological) and the treatment of musculoskeletal conditions and sports injuries. She has also gained a Sports Massage Diploma and is registered with the Sports Massage Association, Health Professions Council and Chartered Society of Physiotherapists. She is a sports enthusiast and enjoys playing tennis and cycling particularly outside of work.
