PHYSIOTHERAPY SERVICES AT MATT ROBERTS

Our team of fully qualified, chartered physiotherapists, are an integral part of our four clubs and play an important role in the fitness journey of our clients.

Physiotherapists at Matt Roberts work differently to other practices locally and it is why our service is unique: They work closely with our world renowned trainers to offer a fully comprehensive rehabilitation and treatment service – one that treats the individual; not the injury - both to new and existing clients. They advise on training plans, are available to clients for advice and information and allow a smooth handover to the trainers following any treatment.

Led by our dedicated physiotherapy manager our specialist physiotherapists and sports and holistic massage therapists, offer the ultimate treatment management in acute and long term conditions.

The team are all trained to the highest level and the company is committed to their on-going personal development so clients are offered the latest innovations in the treatment of Sports injuries, Postural issues and muscular imbalance, Chronic conditions management e.g. back pain, disc pathology, sciatica and Pre and post surgical rehabilitation.

DEDICATED PHYSIOTHERAPY TEAM

All of our physiotherapists use highly effective, hands-on techniques including Soft tissue active release therapy, Joint mobilisation and manipulation, Trigger point therapy, Myofascial release and Therapeutic massage.

On occasions these methods are supported with the use of specialist tools and techniques to guarantee the most effective and time efficient outcome, including:

  • Fascial Blade: designed for assisted soft tissue therapy, this is a non-surgical way to lift and move tendons and fascia.
  • Electrotherapy, including the award winning Compex device. The electro-neuromuscular nerve stimulation technique favoured by all the top athletes both in the UK and Worldwide.

Rehabilitation is a vital part of our treatment and a bespoke, prescriptive exercise plan is designed to help treat and prevent further injury. For our personal training clients, the therapist will work alongside your personal trainer to ensure an effective return to exercise. In fact, during your treatment we often encourage you to continue training so to alleviate the long term implications of the injury. Our massage therapists are experts of body maintenance: With so much time spent sitting down in the boardroom, on a plane or in front of the computer, our muscles and soft tissues form knots and imbalances that will ultimately have an impact on training and normal movement. Regular massage nourishes the muscles and removes the build-up of lactic acid and adhesions which can lead to chronic pain.

Our therapists do accept referrals from non-Matt Roberts Personal Training clients.
