Area of expertise: Functional strength training, movement assessment and correction

Dan is a long serving member of the City team and started with the company in 2011. Since being with the company Dan has added to the base of knowledge he had already gained from starting work in the industry at 18. With an already high level of experience and expertise, which has helped to develop Dan into the trainer he is today, he is eager to expand his knowledge further and continues to improve himself by participating in further research, reading and qualifications.

Having had a passion for health & fitness from a young age, Dan completed his Personal Training Diploma specialising in key areas such as nutrition, client lifestyle analysis and fitness assessment. Since these initial qualifications he has gone on to undertake further certification including TRX and ViPR training. This skill set has seen Dan lead bootcamps and other group classes such as spinning and circuits which bring an exciting variety to his training. Dan continues to expand his knowledge and expertise using articles and podcasts from some of the top trainers around the world, as well as attending courses which include; Kettlebell sport skill set, Boxing pad work for clients, and is well in to his deep tissue/sports massage qualification. At present Dan is working on two new qualifications to take him to the next level: Precision Nutrition – a leading nutrition qualification and a deep tissue / sports massage qualification.


Outside of work Dan has played and competed in a variety of sports throughout his lifetime, with a significant focus on football. Having played at youth level up to the present day he also previously competed for his county. His motivation is driven by achieving any client's goal no matter how challenging they may be. He strongly believes that the only person standing in the way of reaching your goals is yourself and that by combining hard work and fun throughout your sessions you can achieve anything you want resulting in a happier and healthier life.
