Patrick has always held a passion for sport having competed in running and swimming at county level. He is a keen triathlete, cyclist and runner who competes to a high standard within each of these disciplines. He also enjoys participation in a variety of other sports such as skiing and squash.

After completing a BA (Hons) degree in Business Administration and Sports Studies, Patrick took the decision to follow his passion for fitness and become a Personal Trainer. Since achieving his Level 3 Diploma in Personal Training with Premier International, he has delivered over 5000 personal training sessions. Patrick has undertaken further training and qualifications in strength and conditioning, swimming coaching and Watt bike training. He is a qualified Level 2 British Triathlon Coach and has trained athletes to complete triathlons up to Ironman distance, as well as all distances from 5k up to ultra-marathons. Patrick also delivers running and cycling seminars, carries out blood lactate testing, has written many running and cycling articles and has several online videos on running and strength training on the Matt Roberts body network website.

Patrick understands that everybody has vastly different exercise needs, lifestyles and commitments. He therefore uses his patient nature and positive outlook to design dynamic programmes which are specifically suited to achieve the individual goals and needs of his clients.

In the future, Patrick plans to continue expanding his knowledge and experience of endurance and multi-sports events through training in the biomechanics of running. He will also be training for his 18th consecutive London Marathon as well as longer distance triathlons and mountain fell races.
